General Licensing Info


The Winnovative Software licensing model consists in two types of licenses and you'll have to decide which one best fits your needs:

The deployment license which allows you to use our component on a single physical server owned by you or by your company as part of a single server-side ASP.NET web application, or as part of a single Windows desktop application for personal use or distributed only inside your company. The deployment license does not include technical support and software updates for the first year.

The redistributable license which allows you to use our component in any number of ASP.NET web applications or Windows desktop applications that you can deploy/distribute inside or outside your company, on an unlimited number of physical servers or to an unlimited number of customers. The redistributable license includes priority technical support by email and software updates for 1 year from the purchase date.

After purchase, you'll receive by email a license key you can set in the code of your application to immediately unlock the downloaded trial version and transform it into a licensed version.

Updates and Technical Support Subscription Renewal



A purchased license never expires and it can be used with the version of the product for which it was delivered for an unlimited period of time, without any additional cost. In order to continue getting technical support and software updates for the product after the maintenace period ended in conformance with the type of license you purchased, you have to renew your subscription for the product.

When you pay for the subscription renewal please make sure that your contact information (email address and company name) match those from your original purchase order. This help us to correctly identify the original purchase order and to send you the right license key for the product after subscription renewal.

Below there is a summary of our subscription renewal model both for deployment and redistributable license.

The Redistributable License includes maintenance and entitles you to obtain software updates and priority technical support by email free of charge for 1 year from the purchase date. After 1 year you have the option to renew the updates and support subscriptions for your redistributable license if you buy a Redistributable License Renewal for 1 Year.

The Deployment License includes maintenance and entitles you to obtain software updates and normal priority technical support by email for 1 year from the purchase date. After 1 year you have the option to renew the updates and support subscriptions for your redistributable license if you buy a Deployment License Renewal for 1 Year.

When you renew the maintenance subscription for a toolkit license the renewal applies to all the products contained in the toolkit.

It is also possible to upgrade from a deployment license to a redistributable license of the same product. Below is the link to the web page containing the usual subscription renewals and upgrades.
